Avon Intimate Apparel - The One Bra

Hello, ladies!!!

I just want to post this before October ends because I think this can also be dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness.

Check out this one-size-fits-all bra from Avon called The One Bra. Based from Avon's Official Site, it is a comfy spandex that stretches and moulds to fit any shape. It can fit sizes 32A-40D.

http://www.avon.com.ph/PRSuite/ia-onebra.page

The One Bra doesn't have hooks and wires so it will be more comfortable for us ladies, just like a sports bra! The pads are removable, too. This intimate apparel from Avon is made up of 92% nylon and 8% spandex, excluding the trims. However, it's available in Skintone only, no other colors.

You might want to get your own, now. To be honest with you, I hate bras! Hahaha! They're uncomfortable. If only we don't have to wear it everyday but we still have to support our tatas so The One Bra would be awesome because of its comfort and support benefits. :)

The One Bra is for Php499.00. Visit any Avon branch near you or contact your favorite Avon ladies to get your own! :)

The Mestiza Hub Haul

I know that this is a late post already but better late than never!

Last October 4 and 5, my sister, Queen B., and Glory of New York Philippines joined the Beauty Fair 2013 organized by twiinconcepts. While I was there, I saw Ms. Sheena who introduced me to Glory of New York. She has her new shop and products now. Her new online shop is called The Mestiza Hub because her products are focused, I think, on whitening products. She's been telling me even before the Beauty Fair that she wanted to give me some of her products for review so since we met at the Beauty Fair, she gave me the products right then and there.

Here are the products that I got from The Mestiza Hub:

1. Dodora Lip Cream
- Review on this product will be posted soon. It's kind of like a magic lip cream. It is white in color but it turns into a pink stain as you rub it. :)

2. Mirum Snow Whitening Source Body Lotion
- Actually, the product that Ms. Sheena wanted me to review is the Dodora Lip Cream only but then she also found this new interesting whitening lotion so she decided to let me try it as well. This lotion by the way is a product of Samsung! Kulit 'di ba? Hehe! I read from their page that this is their best seller, too!

3. Kiss Skin Care Whitening Collagen Cream Mask
- Thanks to Ms. Sheena for including this sample sizes of collagen cream masks! :)

So, that's all of the things that I got from The Mestiza Hub. Reviews will be posted soon so please stay tuned. If you want to know more about their products, visit their Facebook page now! :)

Fake Cuts and Wounds

Whenever I want to do something so bad, I will surely do it as soon as possible. A few days ago, I was just lying on the sofa in my bedroom like I don't have a care in the world as I was browsing the internet when I thought of what to do for my Halloween special videos. I don't know why but I thought of how to do a fake lip cut. Yung parang pumutok ang nguso mo sa pagkakabugbog. So, I searched a few tutorials on YouTube and after watching a couple of awesome tutorials, I immediately got up from the sofa and went straight on my makeup station. I followed what I've just learned and VOILA! Here's what I did. This is my very first attempt in doing a fake lip cut.

I didn't film a tutorial for this yet since I was just practicing but to be honest and modesty aside, I'm proud of myself because I thought it was already pretty believable. I even added some bruises so that it would look like I was really beaten up so badly. Hahaha! After doing this lip cut effect, I quickly ran upstairs to show it to everyone and then I fooled my Mother that I tripped at the staircase. She was shouting at me hysterically because she thought I really cut my lips and injured myself. Hahaha! Namura pa tuloy ako! Hahaha! I even fooled my sister-in-law and some of my nieces that it's a real wound. They didn't know what to feel, if they're going to hate me because they thought I was joking but at the same time, they also thought that I was telling the truth because I wasn't laughing the whole time and I was acting really good. My sisters were also quite the best supporting actresses. Hahaha! They were just relieved and hated me even more when I finally rinsed off the makeup. Hehe!

I did not only fool my family but I also did fool some of my Facebook friends. I was actually surprised with the people's reaction when I posted a photo on Facebook. I was touched because they were worried. Hahaha! I'm so bad! They said that they hope that it's just makeup and art. Some were so shocked that they really thought it's real. It's freaking insane because I was so happy to know that what I did was really believable. Hehehe! Thank you everyone!!!

Tonight, I was bored to death. I was watching different zombie makeup tutorials on YouTube because I have a makeup gig on Sunday for a short zombie film. Remember when I told you that when I want to do something, I will do it ASAP? Well, that's what happened tonight - again! I was so amazed with what I've watched on YouTube that I wanted to recreate the fake wounds right away so I went down to my makeup station and picked up the things that I'd be needing. I decided to just do a couple of wounds on my hands and ta-dah!!!

This wasn't my first time to do prosthetic makeup but it's been sooooooooooo long since I last did it so I really need to practice more and more again. This time, I wasn't that proud of myself. I think these fake wounds are just okay. I gotta practice more.

If you're wondering what are the things that I used on these fake wounds, well...

To do the prosthetic wounds, I only used lash glues, tissue and cotton pads. I don't have latex and other prosthetic tools yet so I gotta work with what I have at the moment. So, there's my lip colors, concealers and art brushes to the rescue! Hehehe!

Once I've perfected or once I'm already satisfied with the results of my prosthetic makeup, I will do tutorials especially Halloween is just around the corner. As for the fake lip cut, I will do a tutorial for that ASAP. :)

If you have any tips on how to make this more perfect without the use of professional prosthetic tools, please let me know. :)

Local Products I Recommend

Hi everyone!

Few weeks ago, I decided to do a video for the local products that I recommend. I've been receiving tons and tons of questions and requests on which local products are really worth it and with great quality. The video that I filmed took so much time so I decided to split it into two. Here are the two videos, I hope this helps! :)

Avant Garde Makeup Collaboration with Makeup by Sandee TV

A couple of weeks ago, Sandee Proud of MakeupbySandeeTV and I collaborated yet again for an Avant Garde Makeup Special. I was really excited to tie up with her because she is very talented and creative plus I love doing avant garde looks, too! We decided to do our makeup inspired by the Greek Goddesses and portray their characters in an avant garde way. I chose Nemesis, the goddess of Revenge and Sandee chose Nyx, the goddess of the Night. :)

My eyebrows in this creative look was inspired by xxmichaeljames' Cyber Goth Makeup Look. I was amazed when he did his brows and I really wanted to try it. This was my first attempt, by the way, so please excuse me if it's not really perfect. :)

Watch this video to see how I created my Nemesis inspired look. ;)

Thank you for our awesome collaboration, sis Sandee! Can't wait for our next pasabog! :)
