Awesome Makeup Brush: Sigma E25 Blending Brush (Travel Size)

A couple of months ago, Sigma Beauty invited me to be their partner affiliate and they even sent me complimentary gifts to welcome me to the affiliation. I received their single eye shadow in the shade Moonbeam along with the Sigma E25 Blending Brush in travel size and I just want to thank Sigma Beauty again for sending me the purple eyeshadow, which I haven't used yet, and the best blending brush that I've tried so far! :)

I don't own any Sigma brushes and cosmetics mainly because the prices are way out of my league as a student. Way out of my price range! Of course, I've been dying to try any of their makeup brushes because many makeup artists and beauty bloggers love their collection that's why I was so happy to receive the E25 blending brush. It's just a small brush but it's amazing.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Oval-shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Blends and softens the look of powder or cream shadows. Ideal to apply eye shadow primer, base eye shadow colors, and blend harsh lines.

When I saw this brush, I thought it kind of looks like the MAC 217 brush but I haven't used that one yet so I can't really compare the two. The bristles of the Sigma E25 blending brush are made of goat hair and they are really soft. Looking at this brush and at my local blending brushes, it seems that there's actually no huge difference but when I tried it out for the first time, I was blown away!

The bristles are soft, packed, and not porous at all. I thought it will just work the same as my older blending brush but this Sigma blending brush just makes blending way easier. It blends out the eyeshadows faster than my older blending brushes and the finish is seamless. Of course, you still should know how to properly blend eyeshadows but I'm telling you, this is definitely one of the bests.

Some blending brushes are more flimsy but the Sigma E25 blending brush is a little denser so it can also be used to blend out eye primers and cream eyeshadows. I have tried using it on both powder and cream eyeshadow and this blending brush really does its job almost perfectly. When it comes to washing the bristles, there's no need to worry because it doesn't shed, not even a single hair. The first time I washed it, I was a little worried though because as the bristles slowly dry, I noticed that it was getting a little porous (buhaghag) but I was relieved and amused when I saw the bristles came back to its original form and shape after it dried up completely. So, don't panic after washing it because it will retain its original shape once it's completely dry. You won't even need a brush guard.

The Sigma E25 Blending Brush is of really great quality but sadly, it's a little expensive for some of us. However, I think it's worth it because this blending brush won't let you down (at least for me). When I checked out the website of Sigma Beauty, I can't find the travel size from their brushes list anymore but it's still available in its regular size and they also have this in their 18K gold collection.

Prices:
Sigma E25 Blending Brush (original/classic) - $10.00
Sigme E25 Blending Brush (18K Gold) - $13.00

If you wish to purchase this awesome blending brush, click here to be redirected to their website and you can use this month's code for a 10% discount. The code is stated on the top part of my blog (just scroll up).

If I will have the money, I will definitely repurchase and I will probably get it in the regular size. How about you? What's your favorite Sigma Beauty makeup brush? :)

Stay awesome and accomplish your mission!

  1. This looks so much like MAC 217. 217's also goat hair, if I'm not mistaken :)

    1. Yes, just by looking at it. Is the MAC 217 really worth it? :)
