Product Review: SNOE BEAUTY S SKIN SPF 30 STEM CELL SUNBLOCK CREAM

Hi everyone!

I found a skin care product that serves as a moisturizer, sunscreen, and makeup base all at once! The S Skin SPF 30 Stem Cell Sunblock Cream is absolutely an amazing product! Well I've only mentioned 3 things that this cream does but Snoe Beauty Inc. claims that it is a 5-in-1 formula. According to their website, S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock Cream is moisturizing, anti-aging, whitening, a sun protection, and a make up base. It contains plant stem cells which are capable in tissue regeneration and cellular renewal. It plays a big role in tissue development. Plant stem cells are also antioxidants. It fights visible signs of aging and said to have an anti-wrinkle effect on humans. Isn't it awesome?

The Snoe S Skin Stem Cell cream is my first ever Snoe Beauty product and I can't wait to try out their other products. That's how good this cream is that I'm convinced and intrigued to check out their other items. The reason why I bought this was because I ran out of my Human Nature night cream. I wanted to try other night creams because I might find a better one. Then when I visited Landmark, Trinoma last month, I saw the Snoe Beauty counter. I asked the Snoe sales lady if they have a night cream and she recommended this sunblock cream. I asked her why was she giving me a sunblock cream when I would be using it at night. She said it works both for day and night. It has SPF 30 that protects the skin from the harmful UV rays coming from the Sun and the harsh UV radiation coming from artificial lights. Makes sense, right? I was sold because of that.

"Snoe S Skin Stem Cell SPF 30 SunBlock Cream, a multi-tasking product to respond to the needs of modern women. It is enriched with Plant Stem cells that will stimulate human stem cell growth; protect stem cells due to UV overexposure; reversing, the effects of aging on the skin.

S Skin Stem cell SPF 30 Cream Benefits Include:

Reduced wrinkles

Firmir skin

Smoothed hydrated skin

Protect from UV damage

Make up glides more smoothly

Toned skin

Even skin tone

Dark spot prevention and repair

Over all luminous white skin

Refined skin texture"

- Snoe Beauty Inc. (www.snoebeauty.com)

Honestly and without being unbiased (because I love this product so much) or anything, I believe in everything that Snoe Beauty claims about this product. Ever since I got this sunblock cream, I've been using it nonstop. Actually, the pot/jar is almost empty and I'm freaking out right now because when I went back to Trinoma three days ago to buy another one, the sales lady told me that it's out-of-stock, even in all of the other Snoe Beauty stores and she doesn't know when are they going to have new stocks again! :(

The S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock cream is a light pink cream that is rich and thick in consistency which has a matte and velvety finish. I used to hate thick creams (except Garnier Light Complete) because they do not really do good things on my skin but this is just perfect. They always cake and feel very heavy on the face. This sunblock cream sits perfectly on my skin and after a few minutes of application, it will feel like you have nothing on your face at all.

At first use, I thought I wasn't going to love it because it has a velvety texture and I was thinking it might not work greatly as a make up base. Most of the moisturizers and creams that have velvety finish and thick in consistency that I have tried before didn't work as make up bases. My makeup tends to look cakey and they sometimes form crumbles when rubbed and mixed with makeup. So, I was a bit skeptic at first about the S Skin Stem Cell cream because of my previous experiences with velvety/matte creams used as a make up base. But when I tried to apply the Stem Cell sunblock cream under my makeup, I was surprised because it works perfectly. It didn't form any small crumbles at all and my make up did not cake. It acts as a great make up base. Most days, I just apply this sunblock cream, conceal imperfections and set with powder because the S Skin Stem Cell sunblock cream alone is already enough to have a flawless, bright, and pleasant face. You don't have to wear any foundation especially when there is really no special occasion to attend to. Sometimes, I even go out wearing this sunblock cream alone. No powder or whatsoever. ;-)

Here is a picture of me wearing the S Skin Stem Cell sunblock cream with minimal makeup (a bit of concealer, powder to set, cheek tint plus the brows, eyeliner and lip color). Haha!

Now, here's a photo of me wearing the S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock cream with full make up on top:

Both have flawless finish, right? I swear I did not edit or photoshopped anything on my face in those photos above. Just the lightings and watermarks. ;-)

I've just been using this the whole month of August and it already did a great job on my skin. I noticed that after a week of using the S Skin Stem Cell sunblock cream, my skin definitely improved. My skin became more firm and smoother. I'm just not sure if it really lightens my dark spots because I'm also currently using another whitening product which is the Hollywood Style Whitening Face Wash. This September, I won't use any other whitening products other than the S Skin sunblock cream to check if it will really lighten my dark spots and complexion. I'm running out of the Hollywood Style whitening face wash anyway.

Let me show you photos of the before and after application of the S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock Cream.

I already have a light complexion but as you can see in the second photo (after photo), my face appeared brighter. More pleasant-looking! I can go out looking just like that. To hell with those blemishes, I have fairer skin now! :)

I love the Snoe S Skin SPF 30 Stem Cell Sunblock cream because it instantly brightens up my face. I feel comfortable whenever I apply it on my skin because it's not sticky unlike other thick creams. My face always feels and looks fresh when I use this. This is definitely a beauty must-have! It now belongs in my Holy Grail list! I really love it and I don't want to skip on using so I hope that Snoe Beauty will have new stocks of this cream AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Pretty please?

I absolutely recommend this product. It doesn't contain harmful chemicals and it is very affordable at only PhP 169 (Is the price right? Come on down!). You won't lose a lot of money, instead, you will gain a lot of benefits for your skin.

Talk soon!

August 2012 Haul Yeah Baby!

Hi everyone!

It's the 30th day of August today so that means only 1 day to go and then a new month will come! My, how time flies so fast! Anyway, I just thought I'd share the things that I hauled this month. It's not much actually but they're awesome. And also, the last time that I shared my monthly haul was way back in February. For now, there would be no video for my hauls, makeup looks, etc. because there are a few technical difficulties that still need to be fixed. Hopefully, everything will be okay as soon as possible because I really miss making videos. I just started last October and I don't want my YT career to end so soon. :(

Anyway, let's just look at what I've gathered this August!

1. Snoe Beauty S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock Cream with SPF 30
(That's a lot of S!)

Price: PhP 169 (not sure though)
Spotted: Landmark, Trinoma

First on the list is my newest favorite moisturizer/sunscreen and latest beauty must-have! I bought this on the last day of July but I consider it as a part of my August haul. Anyway, I've been using this for a month now (obviously) non-stop. It's what I use everyday and every night. Yes! It's also beneficial to use at night because it protects you from the UV radiation coming from artificial lights. It's a moisturizer, a sunscreen, and a makeup base in one! It also lightens the spots on my face. I will do a review about this so just stay tuned for that. I might write it right after this haul post. ;-)

2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten

Price: PhP 575.00
Spotted: SM North Edsa

The shade that I got is Smitten which is a very hot pink color with a hue of purple. The color looks gorgeous and bold, just the way I like it! :)

Read my review about it HERE.

3. L.A. Colors Lipstick Rouge in Amethyst

Price: PhP 99.00
Spotted: Landmark, Trinoma

I bought this lipstick just a few days ago and I'm already loving it! It's absolutely affordable but the quality is awesome. It's very pigmented and really moisturizing on the lips. I chose the shade Amethyst because I've been really loving shades of purple these past months. See the photo below to know how the color looks like.

4. SKINLITE Makeup Cleansing Tissues with Green Tea Extract

Price: PhP 84.00 / 30 sheets
Spotted: Landmark, Trinoma

It's the first time I've ever tried this makeup wipes and I'm loving it. It removes the makeup on my face but not completely. You might need 3 sheets to totally erase your makeup. But I like it because it's refreshing and the green tea scent gives an extra point.

5. Masflex Desk Organizer Holder

Price: PhP 179.75
Spotted: Landmark, Trinoma

I've been meaning to purchase a brush holder so that my makeup brushes wouldn't be all over the place! Then I found this one and it's perfect because it has three holders in different levels. Perfect for my long-handled and short-handled brushes. This is actually a desk organizer holder. Nice, isn't it? And it looks elegant and classy yet very affordable.

6. Orange Pen-like Perfume Bottle

Price: PhP 99.00 (with perfume)
Spotted: Circle C, 2nd fl.

I discovered this scent station at Circle C where they sell oil-based perfumes inspired by different popular and high-end perfumes. I found a perfume with a really awesome scent so I decided to buy one. While I'm loving the scent of the perfume, what I really love best about this perfume is its container. It is a slim pen-like perfume bottle. I chose the orange one because it is a happy and fun color. Once I finish the perfume, I will refill the bottle with my favorite Victoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne or Bath and Body Works' famous Sweet Pea! My two favorite scents in the world! :)

That's all of it! I told you this month's haul isn't much but the products are oh-so-awesome! ;-)

WHAT'S HOT: Ombré Makeup (Featuring my Ombré Lips)!

Hi everyone!

Before, whenever I hear the word Ombré, I think about hair dyed with a particular color faded to another color. Then came the ombré nails. Now, I have read that Ombré oozes into makeup as well! It has already invaded the eye area and the lips.

http://beautyeditor.ca/2010/09/21/why-yes-it-is-possible-to-do-your-own-ombre-hair-colour-at-home/

http://www.realstylenetwork.com/blogs/beauty/2012/06/how-to-summer-ombre-nails/

I have read from articles.philly.com that Ombré means shaded or shadow in French. Read their full article about Ombré makeup here. According to their website, Ombré techniques became so hot this Spring. Multicolored lips here and there and layered colors for the eye makeup. Funky, isn't it? ;-)

I, personally, love colors! I love playing with colors and I love creative or unusual makeup looks that's why I dig the Ombré makeup. I think it's edgy and a lot of fun! In fact, I tried the Ombré lips today. Here's the Face Of The Day:

I watched Pixiwoo's latest video in YouTube last night which is a tutorial for Ombré makeup and I fell in love with Sam's look! I loved how she transitioned the color red to burgundy! And the eye makeup? It was awesome! Check out the video in their YouTube channel and be amazed! :) I was actually inspired with the Ombré makeup look that she did that's why I decided to do the Ombré lips today. I used a Jordana Lip Liner in the shade Mulberry on the edges of my lips. I smudged it using my fingers to blur it out, leaving the middle pout bare. Then I took my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten and applied it on the bare area. The shade Mulberry and Smitten make a great combination! The transition of the color looked absolutely gorgeous! I chose these colors because I wanted a vampy, ombré lips and also, I've been loving shades of purple these past days.

I'll try to do different ombré lips using other colors because it's so much fun to do! I'll also try to create different ombré eyes! I'm just really loving this new hot trend. :) Would you dare to try this Ombré Makeup?

WHAT'S NEW: E.L.F. Products (Concealer, Lip Stain, Blush)!

Hi everyone!

I just want to show you these new items that I got from E.L.F. I thought I'd share them to you because I realized these are all new products from E.L.F. They are actually not newly bought. I bought the concealer a month ago and got the lip stain 3 weeks ago. The blush was originally my Mom's but she doesn't like it that much so she gave it to me. She said the blush is too sheer but I think it's supposed to just give a healthy glow on your face and act as a highlighter. The shade is actually called Glow.

Here are the new E.L.F. products that I got:

1. E.L.F. Cover Everything Concealer - This is available in 3 shades --- Light, Medium, and Yellow. I got the shade Medium because it suits my skin color. I'm planning to buy Yellow soon for my dark under eyes. The texture is creamy and thick, almost like a mousse. This costs PhP 199.75.

2. E.L.F. Lip Stain - I think this is also available in 3 shades. I just forgot the names of the two other colors. What I got is the shade Crimson Crush which is a vampy-ish red color. I haven't really tested how good or bad this product is so, please wait for my review. This also costs PhP 199.75.

3. E.L.F. Blush with brush - If you noticed in the photo above, there's no brush inside the blush palette. My Mom already threw it out. It's too small, I wouldn't even dare try and use it to apply my blush. This new blush from E.L.F. is just the same with their Natural Radiance Blusher which is actually smaller and of course, cheaper. The shades are all the same. Also available in 3 shades namely Flushed, Shy, and Glow. Again, I got the shade Glow. I have the Natural Radiance Blusher in Flushed and I like that color better because it really appears like I have flushed cheeks. I really love it!!! Anyway, this new blush with brush also costs PhP 199.75.

If you also want to try out these new items from E.L.F., you can just visit any E.L.F. counters at any Watsons outlets or SM Department Stores and other leading malls.

Product Review: HOLLYWOOD STYLE HERBAL FORMULAS WHITENING FACE WASH

Hi everyone!

2 months ago, I was contacted by Hollywood Style Glosons asking me if I want to try out some of their products. Of course, I did not hesitate. Hollywood Style is known for their herbal formulas for skin care and hair products which are all made in the USA. They have a lot of products to offer so you can just visit Hollywood Style's website to know more information about their products.

HOLLYWOOD STYLE USA WEBSITE:

So, last month, I, together with my sister, met with Glosons' Assistant Director, Mr. Samuel Atun, at SM North Edsa to receive the items. They gave me the products from Hollywood Style's whitening line and it includes Whitening Face Wash, Whitening Peel-Off Mask, Whitening Body Scrub, and Whitening Lotion. Mr. Sam actually came from one of their events the night we met and he had a couple of extra products with him and he also gave it to my sister and me. Thank you, Mr. Sam! So, aside from the whitening products, he also gave us a bottle of their 2-in-1 Daily Shampoo and Conditioner and a tube of Body Massage Cream. :)

It took me a month to try and test out the product before I wrote this review because these are whitening products so, I definitely needed more time to really see if there is a whitening effect. The first product that I'll be reviewing is the Whitening Face Wash because among the four Hollywood Style whitening products, it's what I use every single day and also the Whitening Lotion but I'll be doing separate blog posts on each whitening products. So, for now let's just focus with the Whitening Face Wash.

http://www.hollywoodstyleusa.com

If you can notice, the photo above is the Whitening Face Wash with deep cleansing micro beads but that's not what I received. They gave me the extra strong formula. However, they both come in the same packaging and same design as well. It was sealed with aluminum foil to let you know that the product is fresh and unused or unopened.

Hollywood Style Herbal Formulas Whitening Face Wash

A brighter and fairer complexion begins with daily cleansing using an effective cleanser. Our Whitening Face Wash is a high-strength formula made with a blend of all natural plant extracts such as citrus fruits to wash away impurities and deep clean pores, bleaching actives, such as papaya and arbutin to brighten dark parts, age spot and freckles. With regular daily use, a clearer, brighter, and more luminous complexion will be achieved.

I've been using this whitening face wash since the very first night that I have received the items from Mr. Sam. The night that I came home from our meeting, I already used this because I really wanted to test it out as soon as possible and see the results.

This whitening face wash is made up of clear, thick gel. It feels very light on the face and it doesn't really lather but it cleanses the skin perfectly. It has a little cooling sensation so it's cool on the face and you'll feel refreshed after washing your face with it. The best thing that I like about this face wash is that it leaves your skin absolutely soft and smooth and I am not exaggerating. My skin really feels soft and smooth every time I wash my face with it! I guess the only thing that I dislike about it is its scent. I can't really describe how it smells. It has a fruity scent but a bit strong.

It is a whitening product so it should have a whitening effect on me, right? I am known for having a light or fair skin but to really see if it would lighten my skin even more, I took a "before" photo that I can compare to the the "after" photo as evidences.

The before photo was taken before I first used the whitening face wash. The after photo was taken just a couple of days ago. Now, I bet you yourself can tell if the whitening face wash really works. See how it lightened my skin even more? And look at all those icky blemishes on the before photo. The whitening face wash really helped lighten them, thank goodness for that! Not to mention that it also made my skin softer and smoother. Thanks, Hollywood Style! :)

After posting those photos, need I say more? Hollywood Style Herbal Formulas Whitening Face Wash works! And I did not cheat, okay? This review is 100% true and unbiased.

I would recommend this product, definitely. It's 100% veggie ingredients!

Hollywood Style is available in all leading department stores and supermarkets nationwide.
(Watsons, Shopwise, Metro, Unimart, Cash and Carry).

Or you can visit their Facebook page, Hollywood Style Philippines  and invite Hollywoodstyle Glosons as a friend on your Facebook account. You can PM them to inquire about their products including the prices. Visit their website www.hollywoodstyleusa.com to see all of their products.

PRODUCT REVIEW: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (Smitten)

Hi everyone!

I found my lips' new best friend! I feel like I'm going to be super obsessed with this! A week ago, I finally got my hands on the famous Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain. A couple of months ago, there was a hype about these balm stains. Like with the Revlon Lip Butters, some YouTube gurus kind of went loca with these balm stains... and now I know why!

This balm stain by Revlon is definitely addictive (well, at least for me). I can't stop using it ever since I bought it. The formula is really awesome and the shades are pigmented plus there are 12 colors to choose from!

Last week, we went to SM Annex North Edsa to have my laptop fixed at Toshiba because something went terribly wrong with it! Anyway, I got bored while waiting so I decided to roam around the mall first. I visited one of my favorite stores ever which is Watsons and I was sooooo surprised when I saw different shades of the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains at the Revlon counter. I was waiting for the day that they will arrive here in the Philippines and they finally invaded different local stores and malls here in our country. I quickly checked them out and swatched a few colors on the back of my hand. At first I thought the color was too sheer but the sales rep. told me that the color is buildable, and it really is! I tested one shade on my lips and I was impressed with its pigmentation and how it felt on my lips. I rushed back to Toshiba and encouraged my Mom to check out the awesome balm stains. She got intrigued about it because my Mom is obsessed with lipsticks that stays on your lips for long hours because she doesn't like the idea of re-applying and re-applying lipstick on her lips when she's out. I brought her to Watsons and showed her the balm stains. I helped her choose a shade that suits her. She tried the shade Crush and it looks lovely on her. It's a shame that I did not take a photo of her wearing it. Anyway, she liked it on herself as well and without thinking twice, she decided to buy one for herself. Of course, she bought one for me, too! Yay! She ended up buying Crush which is a berry-ish color and I chose the shade Smitten which is a hot pink color.

TOP - Crush
BOTTOM - Smitten

TOP - Crush
BOTTOM - Smitten

Now let's get on to the review, shall we?

PRODUCT NAME:  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain
PRICE:  PhP 575.00
SPOTTED:  Watsons, SM Annex North Edsa

"It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood."

The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is the lip balm version of the Just Bitten Lip Stain. The Just Bitten Lip Stain is a lip marker with a balm that you have to apply on top of the lip stain. It requires more time and effort than the Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain because it's a lip stain and a lip balm already in one. It's like they mixed the lip stain and the separate balm.

Shades L-R: Crush, Smitten

These balm stains look like chic jumbo crayons. Don't worry too much in how you are going to sharpen them because these amazing balm stains are retractable. See that silver area at the bottom of the crayon? Just twist it and the balm would go up. Instant sharpening! Twist it back and it should retract down. ;-) I like that they are big because it would be so quick and easy to fill in your lips with it.

There are 12 shades available and I noticed that most of the colors are in the shade of pink. Some of the balm stains have shimmers on it but they are not really that noticeable after application. They just give an additional sheen on your lips. If you could see on the photo above, the balm stain on the left side has shimmers on it. That's my Mom's, actually and the shade is called Crush. I just wish they have more colors such as Reds and Purples. They have a red shade but it's more of a brownish red.

The Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain smell like peppermint which is a huge factor for me because I love products that are minty! It's cool on the lips when you apply it but the cooling sensation doesn't last for long. It will subside after like 10 minutes or less but the minty scent lasts the whole day. I really love it.

It glides on smoothly like a lip balm when you apply it and it really makes your lips softer and smoother. On the day that I bought my balm stain, I was having really, really dry lips because I've just recovered from a flu and that flu made my lips super dry and chapped. I was amazed on how the balm stain helped soften my dry lips. It's really moisturizing on the lips and in my experience, that moisture is locked in for about 6 hours. I bet if you don't eat or lick your lips a lot, then it would go on for more than 6 hours. Hee!

When I applied it on my lips, I thought, "Okay, it moisturizes and it really feels good on my lips. Now, I wonder how long would it stain my lips". On the first night that I tried it, I was already amazed because the color stayed on my lips for 5 hours even after eating dinner and talking a lot and drinking a lot. I was on water therapy that day. The next day, we attended worship service and I decided to  use my balm stain again to test out its color's longevity again. Let me show you the photos of evidences. ;-)

Our worship service starts at 7:45p.m. I decided to prepare early so I already had my makeup on at 7p.m.

Doesn't the color looks lovely?

We just got home from worship service in this photo. As you can see, the balm has dried up a bit already but it still felt really moisturizing. The color, however, was still pigmented.

In this photo, I just had my dinner. I ate roasted chicken so it's  bit greasy. The color faded out a bit already but  it was still vibrant. My lips remained soft and smooth.

The stain got sheered out again and the color was not even anymore on my lips. But the good news is that my lips still felt soft and moisturized.

First of all, please excuse my unpleasant face. Haha! My makeup faded already  that's why I looked hideous in this photo. For crying out loud it's already past midnight. Anyway, the color of my lips was really washed out by this time but there were still uneven stains especially on my bottom lip. The color filled in the crevices of my lips. The best part is that the moisture was still there! Isn't it amazing?

The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain is absolutely and totally awesome! It treats your lips an it stains your lips for hours. It feels very light on the lips and it is really moisturizing. What I also like about it is that, your lips really look like it has just been bitten. I love, love, love these balm stains. I want to save money so that I could buy all of the shades. I really do want to buy all of them! When I reviewed the Revlon lip butter, I have mentioned that you're crazy if you're going to buy all of the shades. But with these balm stains? I don't care! Because I really do love it.

If you're wondering what is the difference between the Just Bitten Kissable balm stain and the Lip Butter, well, they both are moisturizing on the lips but the lip butter is creamier. With the lip butter, you have to keep on reapplying it because the color would fade out after a couple of hours or less or even after eating. The only thing that I like about the Revlon lip butter is that it has a wide range of shades available --- from nudes, to peaches, to pinks, to purples, to reds, to browns. :)

Anyway, I really love my Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain! It's long-wearing, it's moisturizing, and it doesn't smudge or bleed. I wear it every time I go out. I even wore it to school today!

I definitely recommend this Balm Stains by Revlon. For some (including me), I guess it's a bit pricey but I'm telling you, it's absolutely worth every cents. :-)
