Yesterday, my sister finally finished College with a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM). Of course, we (our family) attended one of her most special days.
I helped her did her makeup but she was the one who mostly finished her whole look. Here is my sister:

That's it, guys! Congratulations to my sister, I am so proud of you for having accomplished one of your life's missions! :)
I decided to do different 1-brand makeup tutorials and I wanted to start by featuring a product from our own country which is Ever Bilena/Careline. Ever Bilena is one of the most popular makeup lines here in the Philippines and Careline belongs or is partnered to Ever Bilena. I think it's just right to use, appreciate and be proud of the things which belong from your own land.
I own other local branded cosmetics such as Fanny Serrano and Fashion 21 but the products that I own from the said brands are still incomplete. I featured Ever Bilena/Careline first because I have complete makeup set (foundations, powders, concealers, blushes, lip colors, liners, etc.) from these brands.
I came up with an easy purple smokey eyes and paired it with three different lip colors so you can choose which one do you like the most and which one suits you best.
You can wear mauve lips for a simpler look:
You can wear fun pink lips if you're feeling a bit perky and bubbly:
Or you can even pair the look with a red lip color if you want to be adventurous:
Here is the video tutorial for this look/s:

Do you like/wear false lashes? If yes, strip or individual?
ANSWER:
I actually don't wear false lashes on regular days like when I go out with friends or on a date. I only wear false eyelashes on special events and if ever I do wear a pair, I usually go for strip lashes because I haven't honestly tried the individual falsies. :)
My favorite lipsticks are the NYX Matte Lipsticks, In2It Moisture Intense Lipsticks, Maybelline Color Sensational in Summer Sunset, and Revlon lipsticks. For lip glosses, I don't usually use them but I guess I'll go for the Revlon ones, Careline lip glosses and the NYX Mega Shine lip glosses. For lip liners, hands down, the NYX Slim Lip Pencils! :)
Do you like wearing foundation? If so, what’s your color and favorite?
ANSWER:
I like wearing foundation but I don't wear it everyday. Sometimes, I just use tinted moisturizers or BB creams for a more natural look. For the my shade in foundation, I use fair-to-medium shades and I have a warm skin tone. For my favorite foundation, it would have to be Revlon ColorStay and San San Matte Liquid foundation. :)
Actually, I am a self-taught makeup artist. I learned by experience and experimenting. I learned the basics and other stuff through YouTube and by Googling.
I started wearing makeup when I was in my first year in High School. I used to wear pressed powders from Johnson and Johnson's or Clean and Clear and lip gloss from Aido, Fashion 21 and Maybelline. ^_^
I remember when my girlfriends got in trouble for wearing lip gloss during class. Our Math teacher made us remove our lip glosses because she said we looked like we had just eaten pork fat! Hahaha! We were very embarrassed because the whole class was laughing at us! :-/ Err!
That's it! Visit again my blog tomorrow for Day 2! :)
Hi everyone! I am super excited to write about these NYX Xtreme Lip Cream, number 1 is because these were sent to me by Ghel, the owner on NYX Cosmetics by Onlineshoppingzone and number 2 is because these lip creams are sooooooooo awesome that I just had to include them on my Holy Grail list. ;-)
I have already uploaded video review and lip swatches of these NYX Xtreme Lip Creams so here, I'm just going to add more photos and list down the pros and cons.
NYX has a total of 11 shades of the Xtreme Lip Creams and Ghel sent me 6 shades (so generous of her!) and they are Skin Tone, Natural, Buttery Nude, Pinky Nude, Spicy, and Absolute Red.
NYX Xtreme Lip Creams come with doe-foot applicators which are great for precise applications. The packaging is a short plastic tube, almost similar with the Soft Matte Lip Creams it's just that SMLCs are a bit bigger than the XLCs.
PROS:
- High pigmentation
- Stays on for long hours (4-5 hours)
- Available in 11 different shades (from nudes to reds)
- Smooth and moisturizing on the lips
- Silky and glossy but not too glossy (you know what I mean?)
- Not sticky
- Fills in the crevices of the lips
- Has a sweet candy-like smell
which I think
CONS:
- might be a problem to some people (especially those who have allergies to scents)
- and that's it! :)
L Top-Bottom: Pinky Nude, Spicy, Absolute Red

I am super in love with these NYX Xtreme Lip Creams, I can't stop using them! :)
Have you tried this out already? If you haven't, then I suggest you do!
