Bing's Top 10 Favorite Products for 2012!!!

One more day to go and we'll welcome a new year! No drama, no long introductions. I'm getting tired of the "I can't believe 2012's over" and "Time flies by so fast" because I always say it and I even mentioned that in my previous videos including my video about this one. Haha! So, let me just share with you my Top 10 Favorite Products for 2012!

You can watch the video here:

BING'S TOP 10 FAVORITE PRODUCTS FOR 2012:

1. Snoe S Skin Stem Cell Sunblock Cream (P169.00)
- A multi-functional  product that acts as a sunblock cream, day cream, night cream, makeup base and whitening product! :)

2. In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour in ER 01 Eyebrowns (P299.00)
- An affordable long-lasting eyebrow powder that can also be used as an eye shadow and contouring powder. :) This photo was taken a few months ago already. Now, I already hit pan because I use it every time I do my brows and makeup! :)

3. Revlon Age Defying Spa Concealer in Medium (P250/sale)
- I got this on sale at Revlon, Circle C. This concealer is my go-to concealer because it's convenient to use and it does a good job in concealing my dark under eye circles and blemishes!

4. 4U2 Dream Girl Love Pink Forever Liquid Foundation (P194.00)
- My favorite everyday foundation and go-to foundation. The coverage is light to medium but it can conceal the redness of my skin and the minor imperfections on my face. Plus it's affordable so students who love wearing makeup at school can afford to buy this one. It's not heavy, just perfect for everyday makeup looks!

5. 4U2 Dream Girl Love Pink Lovelight BB Powder with SPF 15 (P194.00)
- Like the Forever Liquid Foundation, this other 4U2 product is affordable as well and has a good quality! Other beauty bloggers also raved about this product because it's really awesome in controlling oil, the coverage is good and it stays on for long hours! It can keep your face looking fresh for a long time plus it's so tiny that it can fit even in your smallest pouch so it's perfect for school girls and working girls!

6. ELF Natural Radiance Blusher in Flushed (P129.75)
- The shade name says it all! This blush will really make you look flushed like you're blushing. It has a sheen into it so it gives a beautiful glow on your face! Also, it's very affordable and handy! This is definitely my go-to and everyday blush!

7. Victoria's Secret Metallic Eyes Palette (a gift from the best friend)
- Other than an eye pencil and mascara, you have everything that you need in this palette to create different eye makeup looks, especially day to night looks. This palette by VS is designed for day to night makeup looks and it's really perfect for day to night looks because there are 6 eye shadows --- from light neutral color to gold, to browns, to silver, to black! It also includes a black gel liner and a highlighter to complete your look! You can only do so many eye makeup looks with this palette. Smokey eyes, bronzed eyes, neutral eye makeup, etc. :)

8. Maybelline Impact Express Smooth Felt Liner
- My go-to black liner! It's convenient to use, it stays on for long hours, and it's a jet black color!

9. Holika Holika Magic Pole Waterproof Mascara (P350.00)
- What separates this mascara from other mascaras is its wand. It has a pole at the tip of the wand so it can reach the hard-to-reach part of your eyelashes which is the inner part! I love this mascara because other than its wand, it does a good job in separating and lengthening my eyelashes so it really gives me a wide awake-looking eyes!

10. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten (P575.00)
- A lip balm, a lipstick, and a lip stain in one! It keeps my lips supple and moisturized the whole day, the color is buildable so if you want a sheer color on your lips, just apply one layer or if you want to have a bolder lip color then you can apply as many layers as you want! This shade that I have, Smitten, is perfect for me because it's a loud color --- so me! This product is a staple in my makeup kit! Definitely one of my top favorites!!! :)

That's it for my top 10 favorite products 2012! What are your favorites for this year? Please share it, too! I'd love to know! :)

Happy New Year, everyone! I have yet to discover new products this coming year and let's see if they will make it in my top favorites next year! Yeeeey! :)

Hi everyone!

The winner of PROPS 2nd Anniversary Giveaway has already been announced! Congratulations to Ms. Kaela Flores!!! You deserved it! You showed to each and everyone of us that natural beauty is not measured by makeup nor how beautiful one look like from the outside. Confidence is one of the best things and the way you carry yourself. Congratulations, again! Enjoy your new makeup and brushes! :)

However, Kaela is not the only one who gets to have their own Props palette. Remember, each of the judges gets to choose our own favorite contestants and those three lucky ladies will each win a Winks Palette! I bet you're dying to know who I picked! Here it goes:

Congratulations to Chi de Dios!!!

I love how you kept the look simple and fresh plus your definition of natural beauty totally got me. The last sentence actually gave me goosebumps but in a nice way of course! Haha! I was moved. :)

Chi de Dios: Natural beauty for me is something that is inside of everyone. We aren't perfect but I believe our imperfections made us all beautiful. I am obese. type 2 actually. but that doesn't make me less beautiful. Natural beauty is the way we carry ourselves, the way we handle things, and the way we use our entire existence to make a change. :)

Now you have another reason to be happy this New Year! :-D I just have one request, once you received your prize, please show us a makeup look where you used your own Props palette. We'd love to see that! :)

Sunrise and Sunset Eye Makeups - Collaboration with MrsElegantBeauty

Hi everyone!

I love searching different makeup artists on Facebook and different blog sites that are amazing in doing creative makeup looks. Most of the makeup artists that I've seen have portfolios for their different eye makeups. You'll be amazed when you see their works! One of my favorites is Gina The Makeup Artist on Facebook because she is really AWESOME!!! In fact, she's one of my inspirations when I did my galactic makeup. She can do pretty much everything on her eye makeups! That's why I was really happy when she shared my galactic makeup and praised my work. Bless her heart! :) And because of Gina, I got new fans! Thanks to her!

One of my new followers is Angela of MrsElegantBeauty. Angela is also a good makeup artist and she's open to collaborations so I asked her if we could do a collaboration and we ended up doing the Sunrise and Sunset theme. I did the Sunrise and she did the Sunset look. We only did a one-eye makeup, though. Check it out!

I love it!!! Looking forward for more collaborations with her and with other makeup artists who loves creative makeup looks! :)

I hope you liked what I did! :) Talk soon!

Krave Minerale Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator Review

Hi everyone!

I've put the famous Krave Minerale Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator into test to see if it really works. Michelle of CaramelSundaeOnline and Micmic's Corner sent me this over a month ago and I apologize to her for being late for the review. I just really wanted to test if it's any good or what. To tell you guys honestly, I don't like it. I don't hate it but I don't like it as well.

This Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator by Krave is like a 2-in-1 product. It acts as a primer and a finishing veil. Meaning, you can apply this before you apply your makeup and then after you're done doing your makeup, you can apply this powder as well to set your makeup.

This powder that I received from Michelle is already in its new packaging. Before, the powder was in a yellow plastic container which some people said was very difficult and inconvenient to use. Krave changed its packaging and based on the photos, I like the new packaging better. It has more oomph than the previous one and it doesn't look cheap unlike the yellow plastic container. Although the new packaging is much better, I still think that it's difficult to use this product because it's small and it's a bit messy so you have to be really careful in using it because you might loose a lot of powder. The powder puff that comes with it is not helpful at all! It doesn't work well.

The powder  is finely milled so it is easy to blend. Take a look at the photos below. In the first photo, you'll see how the powder exactly looks like. In the second photo, I blended it a little on my skin and in the third photo, the powder was already blended well.

On the third photo, you can still see a white cast on the back of my hand. In fact, at first I was skeptic to use it because I was worried that it might make my face look too white or it might leave a white cast on my face when I use it. It's a good thing that it did not. When I used it, the powder blended well onto my skin and you can't see any white cast or white spots at all. That's a good thing about this powder.

Okay, so here's the biggest issue about this powder. How was it? Did it work on me? Let me show you some photos.

In this before-and-after photos below, I only concealed my imperfections and I didn't use foundation. I did not use any other powder to set my concealer. I just used the Krave Oil Eliminator and Skin Hydrator. When I applied it on my face, I was happy with the result because it did a good job in setting my concealer and mattifying my skin. Then after 3 hours, my face got so oily already. I was disappointed but I thought, maybe it would work when I used another setting powder instead of using just the oil eliminator and skin hydrator.

I tested the powder once more in a different way. Take a look at the before-and-after photo below. This time, I used the powder both as a primer and a finishing veil. I was hoping that it would help control the oiliness of my face. Sadly, nothing's changed. Normally, when I apply foundation then set it with my powder, my face would become oily already on the T-zone area after 2-3 hours. I thought that the oil eliminator and skin hydrator would help a little but the result is just the same --- with or without the oil eliminator and skin hydrator.

I got to say though that I love how my face looks like after applying this Krave powder. Too bad it doesn't last long and it doesn't work on me. That's why I said I don't hate it but I don't like it as well. I don't like it because it doesn't work on me as a primer and an oil eliminator powder but I don't hate it because works as a finishing veil on me. I've read a lot of reviews about this product already. Some said they love it, some said they hate it, while some are just like me. They don't love it but they don't hate it either.

I will still use this though. I'm still hoping it will work on me! Hahaha! Anyway, we all have different skin types so we have different reactions to certain products so if you are interested to try this powder and check if it will work on you, visit CaramelSundaeOnline on Facebook. Michelle is a distributor of Krave Minerale products. The oil eliminator and skin hydrator may not be the best powder but I heard their skin care products are awesome. :)

Have you tried this powder already? How was it for you? Share naman! :)

Mini Watsons Haul (In2It, Fashion 21, ELF, Fanny Serrano, Shawill)

Hi everyone!

After our last 2012 school activity yesterday, my friends and I went to SM North Edsa to have lunch. After we ate lunch, I decided to visit Watsons first before heading home. I bought a few stuff which are all drugstore products. Everything that I bought are featured in the video above. Here are the things that I bought:

1. In2It Fine Tip Waterproof Eyebrow Liner with Free Waterproof Eyebrow Mascara P429.75

Honestly, I think that the free item here is the eyebrow pencil! What do you think? Because a few weeks ago when me and my sister visited In2It at Watsons, the eyebrow mascara was being sold separately for P400+. Now, they are having this promo where you can purchase their eyebrow pencil with a free eyebrow mascara for P429.75? Hmmm... Anyway, that day when me and my sister first found out about the eyebrow mascara from In2It, we tested it but the shade that we tried was Gold which is the lightest shade and it literally looks gold in person. So the shade that I bought yesterday is Copper which is darker than Gold. They only have two shades, Gold and Copper, as well as for the eyebrow pencils. They have Acorn which is the lightest shade and then there's Chestnut, the one that I bought yesterday. You can't personally choose the shade of your eyebrow pencil and eyebrow mascara. I mean, you cannot personalize your purchase. The Chestnut pencil and the Copper brow mascara goes together and the Gold brow mascara goes with the Acorn brow pencil. I'm totally going to do a review about these products so watch out for that. :)

2. ELF Eyelid Primer P129.75
3. ELF Bronzing Brush P129.75

4. Fashion 21 Single Eye Shadow No. 20 - P65.00

A pigmented dark brown eye shadow and I love it! :)

5. Shawill Pretty Color Shine Glitter liquid liner No. 06 - P98.00

The color is just so eye-catching! Very pretty! :) This would look better when you have a darker base.

6. Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler Refill - P45.00/x3

My eyelash curler pad needs a changing! Hahaha! :)

That's it! If you want me to do a separate review on any of these products, please let me know by leaving comments below. :)

MODE 2012: Fashion Show and Model Quest by Coterie PH

A few months ago, I was contacted by my former trainer and co-teacher to be one of the hair and makeup artists of  Coterie PH's first ever fashion show and model quest. Mr. Sari Rosendo, or whom I'm used to calling Teacher Sari, is the production designer of Coterie PH. Coterie Casting and Productions produced this one-day fashion show and model quest which was entitled Mode 2012. One of Coterie PH's objectives is to promote Caviteño models and designers.

On November 11, 2012, we did the first photo shoot and gown fitting at Recuerdos, Silang, Cavite. Finally, the big event happened on November 25, 2012 at Cinema 2, SM Dasmarinas, Cavite. The contestants got to wear designer clothes by creative designers Adrian Sahagun, Thin-Thin Valencia of MCG, and Emar Vida. The models for the fashion show displayed different clothings from various brands like MCG.

There were 5 female contestants and 7 for the male category. I did the hair and makeup of the 5 female models and 1 of the male models. I cannot be any more happy when they announced the first ever male and female Mode 2012 winners because they were both my models! :) Congratulations Jennah and Kyle (wait Kyle nga ba?)!!! Haha! I'm sorry I totally forgot the exact name of the male model! >.<
